SANDOR PINCZEHELYI


was born in Hungary in 1946. Matriculated from the High School of Arts in Pecs in 1964 and graduated from the Teacher Training College in Pecs in 1970. From 1977 to 1999 he was the director of the Pecs City Art Gallery. He organized over five hundred exhibitions, among them numerous internationally renowned poster and graphic one-man and group shows. Since 2000 he is the director of the Visual Art Institute of the University in Pecs where he teaches painting andapplied graphic. Alongside his work as an artist he deals with graphic design as well. He was one of the founders of D.O.P.P. artist-group.
