POSTER COMPETITIONS - Call for entries


11. International Biennial of Theater Posters - Rzeszow, Poland, 2007

Rules & Regulations
  1. The exhibition aims to show achievements in the art of posters advertising theatrical productions. The guiding principle of the organisers is to show the main trends in present day theatrical poster art.
  2. Posters, concomitant with all the aspects of theatre life made in the years 2005 - 2007 will be accepted for the competition.
  3. Date and place of exposition:
    November - December 2007 Wanda Siemaszkowa Theatre Gallery in Rzeszów.
  4. Printed works (minimum format of the works: B3) will be accepted. Each of authors or poster publishers can send unlimited number of works (two copies of each) to the following address:

  5. If it is possible, to aid catalogue production, a slide or an electronic version (CD, ZIP, JAZ for Macintosh /(Ilustrator, Photoshop, Freehand/ or IBM /Corel Draw, Photoshop, (Ilustrator + fonts/) should be included.
  6. The closing date for the receipt of works together with entry forms is October 1, 2007.
  7. Information included on the entry form will be used in the exhibition catalogue.
  8. International Jury appointed by the organisers will award the following prizes (gross):
    First Prize 5.000 zl
    Second Prize 3.000 zl
    Third Prize 2.000 zl
    The jury reserve the right to change the prize amounts.
  9. Winners will be invited to Rzeszów for a three day stay (prize recipients will have to cover transportation expenses to Poland while all expenses in Rzeszów will be paid by the organisers).
  10. Each participant will get the catalogue.
  11. All posters sent for the exhibition will become the organisers property.
  12. The collection is likely to be presented in exhibition centres in Poland as well as abroad.

On the occasion of the exhibition a catalogue will be published (full price - 70 PLN) All entrants can purchase the catalogue at a 50% discount from the regular price (35 PLN).
