ENTRANT CRITERIA
The Third World Biennial of Student Poster, organized by the University of Novi Sad and the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, is open to all undergraduate and graduate students of art colleges where the discipline of poster art is a part of the curriculum.

ENTRY DIVISIONS
All posters must represent the student's work performed within the last two school years and verified by the professors' signature at the back.

APPLYING PROCEDURE

ENTRY CATEGORIES
Free subject: posters made during the last two school years as a part of the curriculum

ENTRY FORMAT:
Minimum size 70 x 50cm

NUMBER OF ENTRIES:
Each student can participate with three (3) posters.

TECHNIQUE: There are no limitations concerning techniques and realization of the posters.

HOW TO APPLY:
All posters and application forms must be delivered at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad not later than 10th October 2008. The Academy address is at the application form. The entrants bear all postal expenses.

All received posters will become a part of a special Biennial's collection at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and can be used in didactic purposes. They will be presented at the Biennial's web site. By filling in the application form, the entrants accept the terms of the organizer of the Biennial exhibition.

The Selection Board is entitled to reject those works that are not in agreement with the undisputed world standards on human rights to identity, nation, religion, language and the like. The organizers of the Biennial have no authorities to transfer any rights to third party in the sense of using and reproduction of works from the Biennial. The entrants accept that their work can be used in non-commercial purposes as well as in the promotion of the Biennial.

SUBMISSIN PROCEDURES
The entrants should send their works, a CD with their works on and signed application forms. The back of the poster should be marked with a sticker clearly stating the entrant's data written in print letters both in mother tongue and English. Copying and further distribution of the application form is allowed. Posters should be sent un-equipped. There is no entry fee.

JURY
The posters will be judged by a five-member jury.

In addition to the main prizes awarded by the jury, special prizes will also be presented by companies and individuals.
The judges' decision is final and the winners will be announced at the opening ceremony of the Biennial in Novi Sad in November 2008.

AWARDS AND PRIZES
The 1st prize winner gets the right to organize a solo exhibition at the next Biennial with ten (10) posters an optional choice, and will be invited as a guest at the opening ceremony of the Biennial 2008. The prizes and awards consist of: monetary prizes, plaques and certificates.

CALENDAR
The deadline for the receipt of the entries is 10th October 2008. The opening ceremony of the Biennial will be held at the hall of the Executive Council of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in Novi Sad in November 2008.
