Dear (gay and lesbian) football fans! In June the UEFA EURO 2008 will take place in Austria and Switzerland. QWIEN (spell Queen) will organize a poster competition about homosexuality and football to discuss homophobia in soccer. An exhibition of the posters in the centre of the city during the EURO 2008 will help to make queers visible in this mainstream event. A prominent jury (including stars like Jimmy Somerville, artists and filmmakers) will nominate a winner for the 1st prize of the competition. The online-edition of the renowned Austrian newspaper www.diestandard.at will organize a people's voting presenting the winner at the Viennese CSD on July 12.
