Festival of "The Wait for the Morning" To Be Hold
The "Bright Morning" - a group of university students attached to the Surah Higher Learning Association - intends to hold the 3rd international festival of "The Wait for the Morning" of Imam Mahdi (a) on the subjects of logo and poster design as well as short plays.
Aims and Objectives
1. Explaining and expanding the culture of waiting and Mahdism.
2. Laying the foundations for the advent of the savior of humankind through cultural and artistic means.
3. Creating and producing cultural and artistic works related to Imam Mahdi (a) and exhibiting them all over the world.
4. Introducing and encouraging creative and esteemed works of art regarding Imam Mahdi (a).
Specifications :
1. Digital poster file: size 50 X 70, format TIFF-CMYK, quality 300 dpi.
Possible poster themes: "Hope and Waiting", "Ka bah Waiting", "Tranquility and Equity", "Expectancy of Youths", "The World in Wait", "Waiting in My Mind", "World Government", or any other subject relating to Imam Mahdi (a).
Note: The word "festival" should be mentioned in the designs.

2. Logotype: size 30X30, format TIFF-CMYK, quality 300 dpi in both CD format and A4 color print.
Works may be in English, Persian or Arabic comprising the names and appellations of Imam Mahdi (a) or other issues relating to Imam Mahdi (a).

3. Short play: Works may explore the following themes: "Hope and Waiting", "Ka bah Waiting", "Tranquility and Equity", "Expectancy of Youths", "The World in Wait", "Waiting in My Mind", or any other subject relating to Imam Mahdi (a).
Plays are expected to be no longer than 40 minutes.

Date :
1. Works should be sent before June 25, 2010.
2. Posters and Logotypes: June 3-10, 2010.
3. Short plays: July 11-18, 2010.
4. Inauguration and presentation of superior works: July 13, 2010 (coinciding with Imam Husayn's birth anniversary).
5. Conclusion and bestowal of awards: July 24, 2010 (coinciding with Ali Akbar's birth anniversary).
Awards :
1. First prize 800 dollars
2. Second prize 600 dollars
3. Third prize 400 dollars
4. Fourth prize 200 dollars
Likewise, awards are gifted to five other suitable individuals of each field.
General Requirements
1. Participants may send 5 works at most for each field.
2. Works may not be accepted if they do not meet specifications.
3. Preferred works will be presented in the gallery.
4. All works will be displayed on the "Bright Morning Group" website.
5. Preferred works will be published in one book.
6. All participants will be given a certificate of attendance.
7. Works received should be authored since 2008.
8. Works received should not have been published previously.
9. "The Bright Morning Group" is authorized to use submitted works in cultural affairs.
10. Participants are required to complete the work specifications form accurately and send it to the festival office.
