Postcards dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Chernobyl

Association of graphic designers "4block" invites professional designers and
students to participate in the action POSTCHERNOBYLCARD dedicated to the
25th anniversary of the biggest anthropogenic disaster of human civilization.

26th of April at 01:24 the explosion of nuclear reactor on the 4th block of
Chernobyl nuclear power station named by V.I. Lenin took place. Effect of the
explosion was hardly predicted and foreseen at that time. Nowadays, for
generations which were born after fatal explosion, Chernobyl is historical and
even mysterious date which more connected to the virtual games or terrifying
stories. So, what is it indeed?

We ask you to develop double-sided postcard. On the front side of a postcard
you should create the image which is reflecting your idea about Chernobyl
disaster. On the back side put the phrase which is representing your attitude to
the topic of Chernobyl accident. Please continue one of the following sentences:

  1. Thanks to Chernobyl I understood that....
  2. Chernobyl makes me....
  3. Without Chernobyl it is impossible....

Do not forget to state your name, surname, date of birth and country.

Postcards files (10x15cm, 300 dpi; pdf, jpeg) have to be sent before 1st of April
