RULES FOR PARTICIPATION
  • ISPC in free of charge poster competition;
  • The competition is only for students of art and design registered at an educational institution for art and design including disciplines such as fine arts, graphic design, communication design, visual communication, media design and other related disciplines;
  • There's no limit for nationality;
  • Students may either register for the competition individually or their school/university may enter them for the competition provided that the student has given his/her consent;
  • Each participant may enter a maximum of three poster visuals;
  • Team entries are NOT allowed in this poster competition; and such participation will be disqualified.
NEW POSTER REQUIREMENTS
1.Poster titles and body copy texts:
  • The poster should preferably be in English, German or French; however, poster texts in all other languages will be accepted.
  • All used fonts should be in outlines or rasterized.
  • No copyright texts should be part of the poster.
2. The applicant should submit his poster in the following order:
  • For the preselection, a preview JPG of the poster in B6 format DIN (125x176mm) with the resolution of 150 dpi with RGB color setting for preselction and official judging.
  • The posters that will be selected by the jury members as finalist, will have to submit high resolutions files (additionally will be more information). Each of the applicants will be informed personally or thru the web page.
3. No copyrighted material may be used for the design.

4.Organizer rights
  • The organizers will reserve the right to utilize the contributed visuals for presentation and media use and to reproduce all entries for promotional purposes within the framework of the international promotional activities and campaigns. With the submission of the poster, the applicant fully agrees with all above mentioned regulations.
The poster that will not match with the regulations will be completely disqualified from the participation.

The organizers reserve the right to refuse entries they consider morally, politically or religiously offensive. All participants need to register for the competition by completing an entry form on the web site and attach their preview poster. The submission of the poster is free of charge and all printing costs will be covered by the organizer.

The posters doesn't has to be sent as printed matter. If a participant wishes to send his poster using other services like post delivery, express mail service, the organizer does not take any consequences for the lost, not delivered or late post delivery.

All posters become the property of the International Student Poster Competition, Skopje.

PRIZES
Three equal prizes will be awarded to the best 3 poster designers:
  • 4 day stay in Skopje
  • free of charge participation in all activities of SDW
  • exhibition of the student works during the SDW
  • fully covered flight expenses
  • free accommodation
The jury members will select 30 poster finalist for the main exhibition that will receive honorable mentions.
The jury will adhere to criteria based on: creativity, originality, aesthetics, communicability and excellence of execution.

COPYRIGHT
The submitted posters must be designed by the entrant. If the work has the intellectual right or copyright dispute, the organizer will cancel the qualification of the entry right. The entrant must undertake all the consequences. The entrant should ensure the organizer not to generate any copyright or other intellective right dispute for the use of the posters.

All the posters including the winning and the honorable mentions chosen by the jury members, are becoming a courtesy of PLAKART SkopjePoster. The organizer has the right to exhibit, publish (including digital publish) and collect the selected posters.
