Hello,
I am coordinator of the Cartographic Poster Contest Black plan organized by Typomania festival in Moscow.
Information about the competition:
For participants:
— design a map of your city (or a map of it’s fragment); the map should contain type
— colour: black
— size: 70 cm × 100 cm (vertical)
— bitmap (no halftones)
— any technique (typography, calligraphy, drawing, pixel-art etc.)
— every work should be marked with contest’s logo.
Deadline of receipt January 1, 2017. Works should be submitted as jpeg files on our facebook page.
International jury — Yuri Gordon, Nicholas Feltron, Joost Grootens will make a selection of the best maps.
Works will be printed in limited numbers (silkscreen printing) and will form a part of Typomania 2017 exhibition in Moscow (May 27 - June 4).
