POSTER COMPETITIONS - Call for entries

7th International Biennale of Theatre Poster - Rzeszow 1999

  1. The exibition aims to show achievements in the art of posters advertising theatrical
      productions. The guiding principle of the organizers is to show the main trends in present day
      theatrical poster art.
  2. Posters, concomitant with all the aspects of theatre life made in the years 1997 - 1999 will be
      accepted for the competition.
  3. Date of exposition: 6 November 1999 - 1 January 2000. Place of exposition:
      Dramatic Theatre Gallery in Rzeszów.
  4. Printed works (minimum format of the works: B3) will be accepted. Unlimited number of works
      (two copies of each) can be sent to the following address:

  5. The closing date for the receipt of works together with entry forms is October 5, 1999.
  6. Information included on the entry form will be used in the exhibition catalogue.
  7. International Jury appointed by the organizers will award the following prizes:

First Prize - 3.500 zl.-
Second Prize - 2.500 zl.-
Third Prize - 2.000 zl.-

  8. The jury reserve the right to change the prize amounts.
  9. Winners will be invited to Rzeszów for a three day stay (prize recipients will have to cover
      transportation expenses to Poland while all expenses in Rzeszów will be paid by the organizers).
10. Each participant will get a diploma of participation and can buy the catalogue after paying 50%
      of its' retail price.
11. All posters sent for the exhibition will become the organizers’ property.
12. The collection is likely to be presented in exhibition centres in Poland as well as abroad.
