On January 1, 1993 the country known as Czechoslovakia split up and two independent states - the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic - came into being.

The exhibition shows over 110 posters by the best 23 Czech and Slovak designers from the 1993-2003 period .

The represented artists/designers are: Karel Aubrecht, Peter Bilak, Jozef Doka Jr., Josef Flejsar, Karel Haloun, Vaclav Houf, Pavel Choma, Dusan Junek, Lubomir Longauer, Karel Misek, Boris Myslivecek, Ales Najbrt, Robert V. Novak, Radomir Postl, Jan Rajlich Sr., Jan Rajlich Jr., Vladislav Rostoka, Jan Solpera, Stanislav Stankoci, Jaroslav Sura, Jiri Svetlik, Jiri Salamoun, and Zdenek Ziegler.
