Posters in the image archive of the New York Public Library

The New York Public Library now has an online digital image archive of 275 ' 000 high quality images. Among them are hundreds of posters
grouped under the heading Turn of the century posters,
or reproductions of every page of the famous periodical
Les maitres d'affiches
(1896 - 1900), like the one from Toulouse-Lautrec at left.
The pictures can be downloaded for individual private study, scholarship and research only. For any other use, a fee has to be paid to the NYPL.
