Rico Lins will open a poster exhibition in Sao Paulo next week at the MIS - Museu da Imagem e do Som (Sao Paulo Image and Sound Museum) which holds a collection and promotes events (festivals, debates, concerts, exhibitions) on music, film, photography, design and new media. MIS has also an equivalent in Rio, with one of the main collections of phonograms, films, photography and documents on Brazilian popular music, cinema and culture. He will show a series of posters created for the Jazz Sinfonica Orchestra 2006 season which will be accompained by a program of concerts combining a symphonic and a jazz orchestra with a special popular music guest at each presentation, throughout the months of March and April.
