OFFICIAL EXHIBITIONS
- POSTERS FOR CULTURAL DIVERSITY
The participants in this exhibition will be solely those invited by the organizers. Around 100 designers from around the world, among them 15 from Cuba, will send their posters.
The participating posters will contribute to create a greater conscience among the international community, the civil society, agencies and institutions from around the world on the need to preserve the values contained in the defense of cultural diversity.
The exhibition is sponsored by the UNESCO Regional Office for Latin America with the collaboration of the International Council of Graphic Design Associations (ICOGRADA).

- FILM POSTERS BY EDUARDO MUNOZ BACHS
Exhibition sponsored by the Cuban Institute for Film Art and Industry (ICAIC), which shows an ample selection of the work of Cuban poster artist Eduardo Muñoz Bachs, undoubtedly the most important creator of the Cuban film poster.

- CUBA GRAPHICS
Retrospective exhibitions on Cuban graphic design are relatively frequent, but they focus almost always on posters. The same thing happens with books and magazine articles, from Stermel and Sontag’s renowned book in 1970 up to our days. Prográfica has deemed it timely and attractive for the Congress to present a more far-reaching retrospective of our graphic design and visual communication, including from editorial work to identity forms, without excluding posters and billboards nor web design, spots, packaging and post stamps.
The exhibition will be presented on a work basis and not on an author basis; it will be a group exhibition cured according to the importance of each piece, and will of course include many of the best Cuban creators in this field in recent years. As to the period it will cover, “Cuba Gráfica” will comprise from 1959 to 2007.
