The finalists have been announced for the 4th Australian Poster Annual that will take place from July 17 - 27, 2008, as a party of the Melbourne International Design Festival. This is the major - and only - poster event in Australia and is slowly growing in quality and size. The 4th Australian Poster Annual asked designers to respond to the Festival Theme, Strength in Numbers, and the Festival Manifesto. 43 finalists were selected by a jury consisting of Warren Taylor, Melbourne-based Graphic Designer and Director of The Narrows art gallery and Vincent Frost, Sydney-based Graphic Designer and Creative Director of Frost Design. The selected posters are on show at BMW Edge, Federation Square, as a highlight of the Festival.
