News: Polish poster exhibition at film festival in Manchester (GB)

Kinofilm is organising an exhibition of about 50 polish movie posters from 16th April to 16th May, 2010, during the Manchester European Short Film Festival, at the Triangle Shopping Centre, Exchange Square, Manchester, Great Britain, private view on May 15th. Poster designer Andrzej Klimowski will open the exhibition on 15th and speak about Polish Poster Art. Curated from the personal collection of Festival Director John Wojowski, the work will feature mainly 70s work but will also include a few examples of rarer posters from the 50s and 60s through to the late 80s when Polish Poster art as we knew it came to an end.
