Dear Friend:
As a result of Hurricane Sandy, our building in New York, which experienced flooding and power failure, has been closed and we have been unable to be open for viewing of our November 11 auction.
THE NOVEMBER 11 AUCTION WILL GO ON. See new new message
We expect to be back in our offices and gallery on Tuesday, November 6. Hours for viewing will be extended from 9am to 9pm on November 6, 7, 8, and 9. On Saturday, will be open 9am to 7pm.
If you have communicated with us during the past week, most especially via phone or fax, please resend these messages beginning on Tuesday.
We will make every effort to confirm all the order and telephone bids received. If you do not have such confirmation by Wednesday, we urge you to contact us at once. If you have any questions, call us at 212-787-4000 beginning Tuesday.
We began work on this auction with the goal of making it the biggest and best ever held anywhere. I think that the book you have or the view you see on our website confirms this.
