MUIPBIENNIAL 2012 BEGINS!
The 2nd MUIPBiennial International Invitational Poster Biennial that initially took place in 2010, will be held Istanbul, Turkey between 6th November - 21st December. Being an organization of Marmara University Fine Arts Faculty Graphic Design Department and under the sponsorship of Capitol, International Invitational Poster Biennial brings together world's most successful poster designers again this year. MUIPBiennial offers a chance to have a general look at current status of poster design which is disappearing today in a world rapidly digitalizing. The 2nd MUIPBiennial will open its doors on 5th November 2012 Monday evening, at 18:00 p.m., at Cumhuriyet Museum and Art Gallery. More than 80 designers and 200 posters from 25 different countries will participate in the MUIPBiennial 2012. The biennial includes mostly social and cultural posters and gives an opportunity to design professionals and art students to see and analyse design perspectives from different countries. Examples of different design approaches, general concepts, printing techniques and dimensions from countries including; USA, Germany, Australia, Austria, Brazil, China, Finland, France, Netherlands, England, Iran, Spain, Israel, Sweden, Switzerland, Japan, North and South Korea, Hungary, Egypt, Poland, Portugal and Turkey; can be seen in the MUIPBiennial. MUIPBiennial which also hosts Emre Senan, Esen Karol, Mehmet Ali Türkmen, Sadik Karamustafa ve Savas Çekiç from Turkey, invites for those who are interested in graphic arts to Cumhuriyet Museum and Art Gallery between 6th November - 21st December. New Perspectives Turkey MUIPBiennial underlines persistance in poster creation and firstly implements its part intended for young designers. Biennial focuses Turkey and gathers new dimensions of poster design from Turkey under the titleof 'New Perspectives Turkey'. Recent works of 32 young designers from Turkey will be exhibited at Marmara University Fine Arts Faculty Main Exhibition Hall between 6th November - 21st December within the scope of 'New Perspectives Turkey'.
