A Long Week of Short Films Festival opens the Polish Poster Exhibition at Undefine in M50. Renowned Cracow Poster Gallery curator Natalia Dydo will share the history behind a collection of significant Polish film posters in an open lecture and exhibition. The exhibition presents a selection of one hundred Polish posters for international films. Among the collected works are included the famous film titles and directors who are recognized around the world i. e. from Poland: ‚The Decalogue’ directed by Krzysztof Kieslowski (poster by Ewa Bajek Wein), from Italy: ‘Amarcord’ directed by Federico Fellini (poster by Andrzej Krajewski), Mexico: The ‘Fando and Lis’ directed by Alejandro Jodorowsky (poster by Gorska/Skakun) and many more. At exhibition you can find special section of posters for old Chinese films: 17 posters from years 1951-1988 for movies from China such as: ‘The Shaolin Temple’, ‘Daughters of China’, ‘Betrayal and Revenge’, ‘Lucky Thirteen’ and other. The Polish artist who designed these posters are Mieczyslaw Wasilewski, Wieslaw Walkuski, Stasys Eidrigevicius, Jerzy Cherka, Maciej Kalkus, Andrzej Pagowski, Jakub Erol, Romuald Socha. http://lwsf.kankanmedia.org/poster-exhibition/
