Peace poster exhibition in Isfahan, Iran
received from Touraj Saberivand
Exhibition poster by Mehdi Rishanaie |
Titel: The world's peace day
Duration: 28 Sep. to 13 Oct, 2016 Venue: Museum of contemporary art, Isfahan, Iran Curator and organizer: Touraj Saberivand All posters have one great thing in common apart from the subject and that is "simplicity"; in design and in idea. nearly half of the posters are monochrome black and other posters have minimum visual elements. One could say that this is a minimalist poster exibition in this sense. There were fourteen posters present in this exhibition, from designers of ten countries. Poland, the ultimate icon of poster design in history, Belgium, Czech Republic and germany in Europe; one poster from USA and two posters from a Zimbabwean designer. From Asia, there were posters from Turkey, China, Russia, and Korea. And last but not least there was one work from Iran, belonging to Iranian designer Elham Eshaghi which was displayed in Italy just recently. A brilliant poster about Syrian immigrants. |
