During the Golden Bee Poster Biennial in Moscow, I met two young designers from Novosibirsk, Diusha Kitsen and Elena Esaulova, who were inspired by the
poster action earlier this year in Moscow in memory of the 20th anniversary of the Chernobyl accident. They asked 10 poster artists
from Novosibirsk, Novokuznetsk and Krasnoiarsk to contribute their own designs, and are now exhibiting the original 20 posters together with the new work
in an exhibition XX + X, opening on September 12, 2006 in Chernoff Gallery,
Novosibirsk, Russia, at 6.00 AM.
The 20 original posters, published by LiniaGrafic! have won special awards at the 7. Golden Bee competition and the "4th Block" International Poster Triennale |
