A retrospective exhibition showing posters made from the 1950´s until
nowadays traces an important panorama of poster design in Brazil. The
graphic designer and curator Paulo Moretto picked up about 130 posters
among more than 7
thousand found in museums and private archives.
The exhibition "A Cultura do Cartaz" (The Poster Culture) brings both obscure and very well-known posters, featuring most of the important brazilian graphic designers such as Alexandre Wollner, Almir Mavignier, Elifas Andreato, Emilie Chamie, Felipe Taborda, Fernando Pimenta, Gringo Cardia, Jair de Souza, Kiko Farkas, Rafic Farah, Vicente Gil, among others.
