The Lenica prize, established 2001 by the National Museum in Poznan, Poland, in memory of the famous polish poster designer
Jan Lenica, is awarded during the Warsaw Poster Biennials.
Gunter Rambow won the prize in 2004,
other prize winners include Michel Bouvet (2002) and Alain Le Quernec (2006).
The prize entitles the winner to one of the legendary large exhibitions at the National Museum in Poznan. The Gunter Rambow exhibition was curated by Zdzislaw Schubert, and the photos from the opening on July 20, 2008 were kindly provided by poster designer Bartosz Lukaszonek. |
