WANG Hsin-Kong, David   王 行 恭 b. 1947 in Mukden, Manchuria, living in Taipei Wang is a part-time Associate Professor of the Art Faculty in Taiwan Normal University. He graduated from National Taiwan Institute of Fine art in 1970. From 1975-77, he studies in the Painting Department, Escuela Superio de Bellas Arts de San Fernado, Madrid, Spain and from 1977-78, he entered the Graduate School of Design in Pratt Institute, New York, U.S.A., focuses on Visual Communication Design. Wang participated in field of design since 1972 and set his own studio "Wang & Design Associates" in 1981. Between 1983 to 87, he worked as Art Editor in the National Palace Museum in Taipei. He won a number of awards including the Best Periodical Advertisement Award(1979&80), Magazine Advertisement Gold Medal Award(1979), Taiwan, Gold Tripod Award for Art Design of Taiwan.(1984,85,87,88&93), Gold Award for "Book Design" in the "Graphic Design in China " Exhibition in Szechuan, China(1992), etc., In 1993, his poster was selected top 5 on the Final list in the International Poster Salon in Paris, France. Publications include Chinese Traditional Posters (1994), etc.
