We visited the Baoan Temple in Taipei in December 2008

which is right around the corner from the Confucius Temple.

In a side wing of the Confucius temple we saw a group of people

young and old, each holding a brush

alone

or in family groups

working with high concentration.

Then, we noticed the Master of the class, an old man in rags, practicing simple strokes.

When we left, he gave us, to my great joy, a poster size paper with his writings.

As Confucius (or Picasso) said "You can not seek happiness, but you can find it"
