The Galerie Anatome has in its first year of existence already
gained a solid reputation for showing interesting poster exhibitions. The spacious,
well lighted large rooms face a quiet, romantic courtyard, and I wish Jean Nouvel would
have seen it before he renovated the Musee de la Publicite last year, to get some ideas.
The latest show, Carteles de Mexico, is one of the most colorful and fascinating that I have seen. There is no catalogue, but you can buy one at the Galerie from a joint mexican-french exhibition that took place last year in Mexico, which shows many of the exhibited posters and gives details on the artist biographies. |
