Beata Swierczynska's series of 8 posters in the student exhibition in the staircase at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts is an outstanding work of art. The theme of the series are the short stories and books of the israely-polish writer Etgar Keret, well know in Israel, for his surreal yet simple style.
Using only black and white, and simple abstract shapes, Beata succeds in creating rich and vibrant images, full of life and mysteries, powerful enough to catch your attention and holding it to explore the details.
