When I visited the annual exhibition of the students posters of the graphics departement in the staircase of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, Maja Zurawiecka's posters immediately caught my attention: Maybe it was the skillful use of photography, maybe the consistent approach in designing a whole series of posters, maybe just the colors black and red, anyway upon closer inspection I found them to be masterpieces of composition, color, typography, idea and execution. I later met Maja by chance at a reception; I always enjoy talking to students and seeing their work, some of them become very famous people later on. The model in poster 10 is Beata Swierczynska, a fellow student and also a very acomplished poster designer.	1	2
