Siegfried Odermatt, of Odermatt & Tissi fame, has managed to assemble a small but exquisite collection of swiss posters, which has its own special flavour as he knew all of the designers personally, and in many cases also obtained the posters directly from them. A book about his collection was published in 1998, and has been reviewed on Poster Page. The pictures here are from the opening on February 15, 2004 at Niavaran Artistic Creations Foundation in the north of Tehran.

In his introductory speech, Odermatt recalled how he started collectiong posters 60 years ago, and how the prize of his Alfred Willimann poster increased 4000 times during this time.

Majid Abbasi and Rosmarie Tissi, who shares the studio with Odermatt since 1968.

At the vernissage were, among others, Masoud Sepehr, Tahamtan Aminian, Melk Imboden, Mostafa, Assadollahi, Carolina Rojas, Alain Le Quernec, Marta Granados, Guy Schockaert, Ali Rashidi, Morteza Momayez.
