Stracilismy Wielkiego Artyste. Mieczyslaw Górowski, z którym przez wiele lat sie przyjaznilem, byl nadzwyczaj skromnym i pracowitym czlowiekiem. Dzielil swój czas miedzy uczelnie, pracownie, dom i swoja pasje kolekcjonerska - sztuke ludowa. Byl tez wielkim spolecznikiem, dostrzegal rózne problemy i na swój sposób z nimi walczyl, jak chocby o czyste powietrze nad Krakowem. Jego czas zawsze byl czyms wypelniony, pelen pomyslów stale cos tworzyl. Z entuzjazmem przez wiele lat projektowal plakaty, ale w jego sercu na pierwszym miejscu bylo malarstwo, na które zawsze brakowalo mu czasu. Liczyl na to, ze kiedy skonczy prace na uczelni, bedzie mial go wiecej i poswieci sie tylko malowaniu. Ciezka choroba odebrala mu to marzenie, ale wierze, ze zostal malarzem w niebie.

We have lost a Great Artist. Mieczyslaw Górowski who was a friend of mine for many years, was an extremely humble and hardworking man. He divided his time between Academy, studio, home, and his passion - folk art. He was also a kind of social worker, he saw miscellaneous problems e.g. air pollution over the Krakow, and he tried to fight for it. His time was always filled with activities, full of ideas always created things. With enthusiasm for many years he designed posters, but his heart belonged primarily to painting, passion for which always lacked the time. When he finished work at the Academy, he decided to devote more time to paining. Severe illness deprived him of this dream but I strongly believe that he became a painter in the sky.
