was a polish graphic designer. Piechura received his diploma from the Department of Commercial Design at State College of Fine Arts of Lodz in 1974. He has lectured at the Institute of Arts and Crafts in Lahti, Finland in 1987 as well as the University of Industrial Arts of Helsinki and the Warsaw College of Photography in 1990-91. He received numerous awards for his unique poster work in international competitions in Poland, Finland, Japan, France, Slovakia, Russia and USA. He died from Alzheimer's disease.
