was a great polish illustrator, caricaturist and poster designer, and a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.

A student of Henryk Tomaszewski from 1951 - 1957 with a diploma in poster design, Stanny illustrated hundreds of books and designed their covers, in particular childrens books.
