Jaroslav Sura was a well known czech graphic designer and painter. He designed about 250 book covers and 500 posters, mainly for the theater and the opera, and his work was shown in many personal and group exhibitions, both locally and abroad, and he won awards in Warsaw, Brno, Toyama and numerous other places.
The poster pictures on this page are from the catalogue of his exhibition in Prague in 2009, organized by the Brno Bienniale Association and the Association of Graphic Design Prague AUG.
