Ronald Shakespear, b. 1941 in Rosario (AR), is the director of Diseno Shakespear, a design firm in Buenos Aires that he runs with his children Lorenzo, Juan and Barbara. He was professor at the University of Buenos Aires FADU UBA (1985/1990) and past president of ADG, Asociacion de Disenadores Graficos de Buenos Aires (1984/1986), and has worked on several mega projects in urban signage, including signage systems for the City of Buenos Aires, the City Hospital, the Buenos Aires Subway and Temaiken Zoo. He has been a guest speaker at several international conferences and seminars, and taught as a professor in various universities in Argentina and Canada. His work has been exhibited in Europe and South America and is featured in many design publications around the world, like Graphis, Print,
Domus, Interni, Abitare, Top Symbols, Idea, Novum, Information Graphics, Icographic, Experimenta and Who's Who in Graphic Art. He has also published several books, including his latest one, "Senal de Diseno", published by Ediciones Infinito in 2003.
