Results of the competition for the Festival d'affiches de Chaumont 2000 ( 11th Rencontres Internationales des Arts Graphiques de Chaumont ) on political and social posters

("preliminary and unofficial")

The preselection jury (Pascal Colrat, Olivier Darne/Fabrique d'Images, Vincent Perrottet/Les Graphistes Associes, Catherine Zask) picked 91 posters from the 1384 that were sent in by 321 affichistes from 41 different countries. On May 20, the international jury (Chairman Gunter Rambow (D) , U.G. Sato (J), Vincent Perrottet (F), Gianfranco Torri (I), Garth Walker (ZA) ) selected the following winners:

First prize: Gerard Paris-Clavel, France

Second prize: Takashi Sekiguchi, Japan

Third prize: Nous Travaillons Ensemble, France

ICOGRADA Excellence Award: Luba Lukova, USA
