The jury of the 9th Tehran International Poster Biennial consisted of Mohammad Ehsai (Iran), Ebrahim Haghighi (Iran), Daniela Haufe (Germany), Werner Jeker (Switzerland), Emre Senan (Turkey), Gobad Shiva (Iran) and Wang Xu (China) during the sitting on Friday, June 15, 2007 at Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art, after viewing 504 posters submitted by 228 designers from 39 countries decided to award the following prizes: First prize (5.000 Euro): Ralph Schraivogel (Switzerland), for "Akira Kurosawa", 2006 Second prize (3.000 Euro): Timo Berry (Finland), for "Journalist Anna Politkovskaya (1958-2006)", 2006 Third prize (1.500 Euro): Peyman Pourhossein (Iran), for "Theater Emili", 2006 Icograda Excellence Award: Amirali Ghasemi (Iran), for "Group Video Installation", 2005 IGDS Diploma: Iman M. Raad (Iran), for "21st Quran Festival for Students", 2006 Jury Awards: Siamak Felizadeh (Iran) for "Film Museum of Iran", 2004, by Mohammad Ehsaie Pedram Harby (Iran) for "5th Generation", 2006, by Ebrahim Haghighi Liza Ramalho & Artur Rebelo (Portugal) for "I Love Tavora", 2005, by Daniela Haufe Henning Wagenbreth (Germany) for "Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra", 2007, by Werner Jeker Martin Woodtli (Switzerland) for "Trickraum", 2005, by Emre Senan Farshid Shafiei (Iran) for "We Are Illustrators", 2006, by Ghobad Shiva Hiroki Yamamoto (Japan) for "Couqo", 2006, by Wang Xu Icograda Life Time Achievements Award nominated by IGDS: Farshid Mesghali (Iran)
